YWCA NSW supports vulnerable people across NSW at times in their lives when they need it most, regardless of their age, religion or gender. We help individuals, families and whole communities develop behaviours and skills to not only get through times of crisis but become strong enough for it not to happen again.
Our mission is to develop resilient connected people engaged in their community.
It takes a village to raise a safe, happy and healthy child, in fact it takes all of us, so we believe in working deeply in communities to make lasting and sustainable change.
YWCA is one of the largest non government organisations (NGOs) in the world, working in 132 countries across thousands of communities. Our vision is of a fully inclusive world where justice, peace, health, human dignity, freedom and care for the environment are promoted and sustained.
