Ambarvale Community Hub

The Ambarvale Community Hub (Yummy Café) is designed to be a hub in Rosemeadow and Ambarvale linking together a number of activities, services and opportunities for families and providing a child and family friendly venue for the whole community.

 

It aims to be a safe place where local residents can access services, participate in activities and programs, develop skills and build networks, purchase delicious affordable food, meet in a safe place where their children can play and develop positive peer support groups.

 

The Hub aims to be:

We offer:

  • a child friendly café
  • a large outdoor area with play equipment
  • delicious affordable food and coffee
  • playgroups
  • children’s birthday parties
  • function catering
  • space available for private functions


We’re also proud to say that the Café has won numerous awards including 2010 Local Business Awards for Outstanding Café and 2009 Business Achiever award for Best Café/Coffee Shop.


Programs and Activities

  • Play group is on Fridays from 10.30-12 noon providing free morning tea and facilitated by Street treats Burnside.
  • Café is available as a venue for new playgroups and mothers groups at no cost.
  • Mobile toy and book library every fortnight
  • Creative living craft group meets Tuesday morning from 9.30-11.30am
  • Birthday parties starting from $5.00

Café Opening Hours

  • Tuesday - Friday: 9.30am - 2.30pm
  • Sunday - Monday: CLOSED
  • Second Saturday of the month for children’s birthday parties (bookings essential)
