Kate Frost became CEO in May 2008. Kate’s background is primarily corporate - she spent 25 years in banking, her last role as Vice President with Citibank - so she has brought with her great organisational, professional and financial skills in order to make YWCA NSW run smoothly and efficiently.
Kate made the move to the not-for-profit (NFP) sector in 2004, joining The Smith Family as Head of Fundraising where she was responsible for a budget of $40M covering fundraising, all appeals and campaigns as well as events and volunteering.
Kate’s decision to join YWCA NSW was made because she believes in supporting the disadvantaged individuals, families and communities that we help at YWCA NSW.
“I am involved with YWCA NSW because it appeals to me on an intellectual basis by proactively changing people’s behaviour and skills before they fall through the gaps, and it appeals to my heart by helping them at a practical grass roots level when they need real hands on support.”
