No Excuse For Abuse

Developed by YWCA NSW, in partnership with the Shoalhaven City Council and the Australian Government, the “No Excuse for Abuse” project (NEFA) aims to reduce the incidence of crime and abuse in the Shoalhaven by spreading the message that there’s “No Excuse for Abuse, All Abuse”.

The “No Excuse for Abuse” project has been implemented over the last 18 months in the Shoalhaven region after in depth discussions with many local residents and a series of art competitions, mainly involving local school children. A free kit has been developed and is available to government and non-government organizations, schools, community service providers, sporting and community clubs, and other groups who are keen to help continue to spread the message.

The free Resource Kit has both electronic and print resources to help the Shoalhaven keep the “No Excuse for Abuse” message alive and is available from YWCA NSW South East Region office, or by phone: 02 4423 8501
