What We Do

Individuals

Our programs for individuals impacted more than 20,650 people in 2008/09. We’ve developed programs for individuals through early intervention, training and practical support. This helps stop the transfer of intergenerational disadvantage, assisting young people in particular to navigate the difficult early childhood and teenage years.

This includes:

  • Mentoring for children and teenagers through one-day coaching, healthy breakfast programs, in-school learning programs and long term one-to-one mentoring
  • Work experience opportunities, accredited training and employment services for disadvantaged and long-term unemployed
  • Parent and life-skills education programs
  • Leadership training and skill development
  • Enterprise programs to empower individuals
  • Early childhood and holiday programs
