Be a Play Group Volunteer
From music to dancing to Big Books Big Fun, help littlies in the Macarthur Region
 

YWCA NSW’s Play Groups at the Yummy Café in Ambarvale need some volunteers. And this could be just what you’ve been looking for as a way to help out in your local community.


Yummy Cafe hosts a variety of morning play groups, providing a safe environment for children and helping their mums or other carers connect with each other.


There are play groups where the kids learn music and movement, play groups that encourage creativity and crafts, the Mobile Toy Library comes to visit for both parents and children to borrow toys and books, and an early literacy program called Big Books Big Fun instills a love of reading from an early age.


Play groups are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings starting in mid February. Big Books Big Fun runs the last Wednesday of every month from 10am to midday.
