YWCA NSW currently employs over 300 staff across the four regional areas we operate in.

 

Each regional area is headed up by a Regional Manager who reports to the Executive Team. Within each region there are program managers, co-ordinators and team members across a variety of specialty areas who deliver our programs and run our social enterprises.

Kelsey comes to the YWCA NSW with 11 years experience in the not-for-profit sector in international and state based NGOs based in Sydney and Perth.  Kelsey’s background in sociology and developmental psychology has led her to focus on working with disadvantaged communities, particularly children and families.  Kelsey brings experience in development of national policies, managing large scale programs across 150 sites, volunteer management and working with Aboriginal communities in urban and remote areas.
Genevieve Marchiori

Senior Manager, Programs South West Region

Genevieve is passionate about regional and rural communities and she is dedicated to seeing them grow and reconnect.  Genevieve has worked in rural and regional communities in community services and development both in Local Government and the NGO sector.  Genevieve started with YWCA NSW in 2007 and since then has delivered Rural Wellbeing Programs across North West NSW, reaching in excess of 6000 participants in 18 month across 4 locations. Her role of Health and Wellbeing Manager also saw her take YWCA NSW Aboriginal Women’s Wellbeing Program to 5 locations across NSW reaching 260 Aboriginal Women per year.  In 2011 Genevieve was appointed Senior Manager – South West Region and is enjoying working in her local community.

Senior Manager, Northern Rivers

Jonny brings 25 years of experience in Community Services to YWCA NSW, primarily management in the disability sector for organizations ranging from Western Sydney Area Health services to the Cerebral Palsy League of QLD. She brings a wealth of knowledge both from her professional life and her personal experiences.

Jonny has always had a strong passion for social justice and the our Y It Takes A  Village philosophy and methodology of building capacity and sustainability is very much aligned with her personal beliefs.
