Y HotelsWe have always operated as a social enterprise with the successful operation of our two Sydney based hotels providing stylish yet affordable accommodation- they're the hotels that work for the community.

The successful operation of YWCA’s two hotels Y Hotel Hyde Park and Y Hotel City South, Conference Centre and food and beverage operations are fundamental to the long term sustainability of YWCA NSW Community Services, reducing our reliance on vulnerable government and philanthropic funding sources.

The Hotels combined provide $1.25m net income pre depreciation towards the delivery of vital services to support people and communities experiencing vulnerable. Y Conference CentreImportantly they also provide affordable quality accommodation to over 85,000 people who come through the doors each year and provide employment for around 25 people each year.

Y Conference Centre provides affordable meeting, training and function facilities for many NGO’s, Associations and local businesses as well as supporting our work by providing free room and equipment hire for our own training and seminars.

Yummy CateringYummy Catering and Yummy Café are our newest social ventures providing the Ambervale Community with nutritious and affordable food, a meeting place and centre for family services.


SCRAP Recycling Enterprise
provides training and employment skills to young people in the Shoalhaven as well as producing fabulous recycled products for sale.
