At YWCA NSW, we know first-hand about the increase in violent behaviour over the festive season.

Unfortunately, we also know that when young people are exposed to violent behavior, it can set off a chain of behaviour affecting many more people, even multiple generations of the same family. And these effects last well beyond the holidays.

Some young people become isolated with no-one to turn to. Their self confidence can suffer. Some even turn to violent behaviour themselves, setting the cycle in motion again. That’s why we run programs to help children and young people regain control of their lives and break this chain.

So, please donate this Christmas. You have the power to change their lives.
