YGirls

YGirls is a volunteer sub-committee of the YWCA NSW Board of Directors to encourage the participation of young women in decision making, promoting empowerment, and creating opportunities for informed choice through education with the focus on young women in the Sydney area.

YGirls aims are to:

To provide networking opportunities for young women
To provide access to information for young women to learn from, be inspired by, and engaged with successful and intriguing women who are leaders in their field.
To provide opportunities for young women within the committee to represent the voice of young women and develop through attendance at seminars, forums, conferences, and board appointments.
To contribute to the greater good of the YWCA through fundraising assistance and representing YWCA NSW in local, state, national and international discussions and events.

YGirls Events
The Sydney YGirls Committee has initiated and been involved in a diverse range of projects and programs, most recently including the ChatterBOX events. ChatterBOX is an intimate, fun and informative forum for women where remarkable speakers come to discuss from their own experience, interesting and thought provoking topics, with opportunities for the audience to ask questions, make comments and meet other fabulous young women.
